Preheat oven to 350.

1 1/2 C sugar.

1/2 C Crisco.

Cream Crisco and Sugar - should look like this.

Add and mix in 2 eggs and 1 t. vanilla.

Mix well.

Add 2 heaping C flour, 2 t soda, 1/2 t salt and 2 t baking
powder.

Add in 4 T cocoa.

Mix in the dry ingredients alternately with 1 C sour milk. See
next picture for directions to make sour milk.

Pour about 3 T vinegar in the bottom of a 1 C measuring cup.
Add milk to the 1 C line. The milk will curdle and look like this
immediately. This is what you want to see.

Slowly add in 1 C boiling water. Start your mixer slow as this
will be real sloppy.

Fill cupcakes 1/2 or a little more full.

Frosting:
This is another hard one. I dump and mix, but this is a close
guess.


Soften 1/2 C butter and mix into 2 - 3 C powdered sugar. Add in
1 t vanilla and about 3 - 4 T cocoa. Add in milk a little at a
time until it reaches the consistency you desire. Mix well. Frost
completely cooled cupcakes.

For the decorations I bought the eyes.


Mix powdered sugar with a little butter, vanilla, blue food
coloring and just enough milk to make a stiff consistency. Then
use the tip you prefer and decorate. Do the same for the yellow
or whatever color you choose.
