Top of the Stove Cookies

Melt slowly over low heat so it doesn't brown - 1 stick of butter
or 1/2 C.

Add 2 C sugar and 1/2 C milk.

Add 3 T cocoa.

Wisk together in the pan and heat to boiling.

Boil 1 minute. If you don't boil enough it will not set up. If you
boil too much it will set up too fast and be hard.

Remove from heat and add 1/2 C peanut butter.

3 C oatmeal - I use Old Fashioned.

1 t. vanilla.

Mix thoroughly.

Lay a piece of aluminum foil out.

Drop by tablespoonsful.

Add a glass of ice cold milk and enjoy!
