A Morning in St. Pete's

My sister and I have been in Florida for a couple of days helping out my mom and dad. Mom had knee surgery. Today we decided to escape to St. Pete’s Farmers’ Market.

For you that don’t know, I had a cookie company for a few years and sold at the Farmers’ Market in Holland, MI. I loved, loved, loved it. My sister, who came to Florida with me, helped me with the cookies. I think on our best day we sold 1,000. We met so many nice people. Since, we were involved at the market I think we have a connection to markets now.

We overheard someone on the plane, on the way down to Florida, say this market was a good one.

Well, they were right.

We had so much fun talking to the vendors. One vendor said they usually have 15,000 to 18,000 people attend.

This was a craft, produce, plants, bakery and food vendor market.

There was a group playing blue grass type music and it just added an extra flair to the experience.

The additional ingredients of this market were the dogs. Oh, my. There had to be at least 50 dogs there. Dogs of all breeds.

This one was the coolest. He was just too cool to drool. His name is Jax.

Along with the sunshine, light breeze and 70 some degree weather it was a 120% enjoyable morning.
