Showing Instead of Telling

It's been extremely busy here.
I hosted a bridal shower with 23 people here on Saturday and then the next day, Sunday, we had a family reunion with 51 in attendance.
So, with all that plus this and that, I decided to "show" you what's been going on around here.
We have three hummingbirds that frequent our back porch. I have pictures of them in the tree also. I am pretty sure there is a nest there too.

My new camera is awesome. I took this one while on my porch swing.

Another try at capturing "in flight".

I totally enjoy watching the chickens wander around the farm. Hot shot rooster really struts his stuff.

This kitten was just too hot to care.

Trixy, my Maine Coon cat loves water and for some reason or another enjoys laying in the sink.

I found this treasure on a pillow case on the clothes line. Thank the good Lord I saw it before I brought it into the house.

We are aquiring quite a few birds around here. I really need to get a bird book.

Our neighbor exercises his horse in our sand pit. I walked back the other day and was pleasantly surprised.

Trying to capture the "flutterbys" while in flight wasn't easy. When he finally landed, he didn't stay long.

Wigglies comparing tongues.

My crazy wigglie that everyone says is most like me. I love her and her silly ways.
