Things Are "Fallin' in Place" Around Here

I caved.

I stated I would wait until September 1 to infuse my house with fall.

I made it to August 30.

One of my wigglies stopped by when I was distributing the decorations and he had so much fun helping me.

If you think no one will notice if  you go to the trouble of changing out your accessories, I think you're wrong. It really doesn't take much to enhance your home with each season or holiday and with little ones in the home, it's one more memory for them to store.

So, I would encourage you to take a few minutes and "fall up" your home.

Here are a few easy things I did - it doesn't take a lot of money or time. The decorations I have are years old, bought at garage sales or discount stores.

One simple strand of leaves - you can get them at the dollar store.

A few more leaves and add a couple of pumpkins to the mix.

A simple piece of leaf garland draped over the corner of a picture adds warmth.

My wigglie thought this was a good place for a couple of pumpkins.

Another leaf garland and fun pumpkin plate.

The wigglie's idea.

Just tuck a few leaves and candles in strategic places. These leaves came from an arrangement I got at a garage sale. The arrangement had seen better days, but I knew I could use the foliage.

Make sure you have something fun and safe for the little ones to pick up and play with.

Another few leaves tucked onto a photo - I love the look.

See how simple and inexpensive this was? It will change the look and feel of your home. Make sure to add some pumpkin candles or air fresheners to finish it off.

I would love to see some pictures of your decorations. Post them on our facebook page. You can find us on facebook - click on Contact Us tab and then on facebook.
