My Tsunami

I just had a wave of gratefulness wash over me like a tsunami. I’m not sure what caused it or why.

Is my life perfect? No.

Are there hardships? At times.

Do I have trials? Every day.

Do I have concerns? Constantly.

I think my life mirrors many of yours.

We have blessings every day that we overlook.

We have gifts that are taken for granted.

Our bellies are full, our bodies are adorned, our families are intact and we have grand homesteads compared to 90% of the world.

We have opportunities that are neglected.

We have freedoms unfathomable to others.

We have choices.

Today, right now I chose to acknowledge there is nothing I have or do that is not given to me by God himself.

And, that my friends must be the source of my tsunami.
