Four of my favorite wigglies. |
When I decided to blog I decided to post the good, the bad
and the ugly.
Well, today I have some good yet I am arguing with myself
about writing about it. One part says yes! God has blessed you, share it. The
other part of me (my legalist background part) is saying, no! Don’t post how
wonderful things are now because others will think why not me or who does she
think she is etc., etc.
So I am going to listen to the positive part of my brain.
It’s Sunday morning and Farmer had to pull barn duty so I
decided to stay home too and listen to church online.
While I was listening to my favorite pastor from my favorite
church I was preparing Sunday dinner for my favorite people, my family. All my
kids and wigglies and teenlings will be with us today. And, we are celebrating
a birthday of one of my wonderful daughters-in-law.
For those of you that don’t know, most Sundays I have the
whole family for dinner – my treat to my daughters-in-law to give them a break.
I never had much help raising my four sons and would have given my left arm for
any assistance.
My heart is overflowing with joy this morning.
I’ve been renewing my mind while preparing a meal of love
for my family.
Is my life always full of sunshine and roses?
Hardly, and any of you that farm know how that goes.
But right now, right here, I am basking in God’s goodness
and just had to share it. I hope this prompts you to see his goodness in the
everyday things.
