There are real live farmers behind the feed that grows the cows. My son and daughter-in-law were in Washington DC with a group of young farmers. It's amazing what the public doesn't understand about farming. One man encouraged them to sell all their land because they could become rich! When my daughter-in-law asked "Then where would we get the feed for the cow?" He said "Just go to the mill and buy it." Apparently he hadn't connected the dots between farmer, land, feed and cows. I would encourage and non-farmers to find a Farmer and ask questions. We love to help everyone understand what it takes to deliver food to your table.
