Hey there God, it’s me again.
Back to school time and prayers.
I remember when I prayed that my kids would behave, learn, be kind and find good friends. What a different world it is now. It must make you sad.
So, Lord I’m praying for my grands now.
I ask for protection from so many things. Protect them from the violence that is intruding. Protect them from the insane ideas the systems are trying to push. Help my grandchildren have the courage and strength to stand for truth. To speak up to disagree kindly. Help them understand they can be kind, loving and yet have a different opinion. Help them to realize they don’t have to fall in line with verbiage and actions that go against your ways.
Help them to lean on you, count on you, look to you. Help them to be leaders of your ways. To be the kids that others look up to. Help them to be accountable, prompt, reliable and to go above the normal when it comes to actions. Let their kindness and love for you encourage and bless other kids and staff.
I pray for favor for them with classmates and staff.
I pray your presence will be a continuous known factor in their life.
Lord you are a faithful God and I thank you for that faithfulness. Whatever comes our way, you are right there with us, guiding us, helping us and your blessings are bountiful and undeserved.
We love you Lord.
