Every now and then we have breakfast for supper. This is good anytime of the day.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mix 3 C milk with eggs. |

10 slices of bread. When I was making this years ago I would use cheap white bread. Now I normally use multi grain bread. The day I was buying groceries for this I was in a hurry and my mind slipped back several years. Multi grain bread does great. |

Cut the crust off and cut into small pieces. |

1/2 to 1 pound chopped ham. I cheat with this. |

1 - 2 t dry mustard, 1 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper. |

Add up to 1 pound cheese - I mix cheddar, Colby or co jack, whatever I have. |

Mix all together and pour into pan and refrigerate overnight. |

In the morning melt 1/2 stick of butter. |

Pour over the egg mixture. |
|
Bake at 325 for about and hour. Test with butter knife. It should come out clean. |

A fruit salad rounds this meal out nicely. If you pour orange juice over the fruit it will help keep the fruit from turning brown.
